Small Charity Week kicks off on 17th June with ‘I ♥ Small Charities Day’ – the perfect chance to thank our wonderful supporters for all their hard work and to celebrate how far we have come in the past year!
Right now, more children are being referred to our service than ever before. We have seen a 22% increase in growth for the demand for our service and have continued to expand the type of transfers – transferring children to receive organ transplants and for end of life care. We have continued to support the repatriation of premature babies, reuniting families at an incredibly emotional and stressful time. We have also completely streamlined our charity’s resources to ensure that more money than ever before is going directly in to funding our flights.
It has been a defining year for our charity and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible supporters. So, today we are celebrating YOU as much as our other achievements because without you none of them would have happened. Big things often have small beginnings, so thank you for sticking by our small charity and continuing to help fly children to hospitals across the UK.
