On Friday 2nd September 2022, over 600 people attended our Lambeth Palace Garden Open Day raising over £4,600 for Lucy Air Ambulance for Children (Lucy AAC).
Visitors explored the 10 acres of Palace gardens and enjoyed all the fun activities for children including fete stalls, face painting, bubble fun, balloon modelling, football fun and children’s theatre. Through activities, admissions and refreshments, the Garden Open Day raised £4,684 for Lucy AAC.
Lambeth Palace generously gave Lucy AAC access to their beautiful venue for free and our corporate partner, Houlihan Lokey, sponsored the event costs so all money raised on the day will go directly towards helping fund flights for children. We would like to thank both Lambeth Palace and Houlihan Lokey for their generosity. Without them, this special day would not have been possisble.
Being a small team, we simply couldn’t host this event without an army of volunteers. We would like to say a special thank you to volunteers from Impellam (Lorien, SRG and Carbon60), Houlihan Lokey, Enterprise and Virgin Media O2, for donating their time and skills to ensure that all our guests had the best possible experience.
