Dr Lee Collier
Medical Advisor
Lee qualified in 2006 from St George’s Hospital Medical School in London. He had paediatrics training in Kent, choosing to specialise in neonatology. Lee joined the London Neonatal Transfer Service (NTS) as a Senior Fellow in 2014, becoming a permanent Specialty Doctor in 2018.
Lee joined Capital Air Ambulance as a flight doctor in 2018, since completing many neonatal flights nationally and internationally.
Lee is a member of EURAMI (European Aeromedical Institute) and plays an active role in NHS and international bodies to promote neonatal flight. He developed the STAN course, with NTS colleagues, to train nurses and doctors in neonatal transport.
Lee is passionate about promoting the Lucy vision so that every UK child who needs a flight transfer can have one, helping to make this happen by training and supporting health professionals and acting as an interface to the aeromedical industry.
Dr Nandiran Ratnavel

Dr Ratnavel trained at St George’s Hospital Medical School London, qualifying in 1994.
After house jobs he entered into Paediatrics with Senior House Officer rotations through Lewisham University & Guys Hospitals followed by 6 months of Paediatric Intensive Care Unit experience at Guys Hospital which also involved retrieval with the as then new South Thames Retrieval Service in 1998.
Dr Nandiran then went into Neonatology in the first year of training in an additional specialism training culminating in a final 6 months as a registrar with the London Neonatal Transfer Service.
Following this he took up a consultant position in the same service which also included working attending weeks on the Neonatal Unit at The Royal London Hospital. Since then he has spent 3 years as Chair of the UK Neonatal Transport Group, 2 years as Chair of the Thames Perinatal Group and is currently Lead Clinician for Neonatology at The Royal London Hospital.
Stephanie Kleyman

Stephanie is a commercial solicitor with over 25 years experience from small claims through to the Court of Appeal. Having worked in both private practice and in house, she combines a variety of legal knowledge as well as a good understanding of how businesses really work.
